Got another infection just in time for the three day weekend...sigh...lucky me...Can't really remember the last time I spent three days doing next to nothing. I did go for coffee and grocery shopped for a couple of hours and went to the mall for a few more hours on Monday...but overall I spent it resting, watching TV and thinking about all the tasks I should be doing...(not sure if that's very restful!).
So the start of this week brings me to another, newer, bigger To-Do-List. Usually I have an ongoing list for work and home but so much down time last weekend allowed me to prioritize the list (I even color coded it!) and added in things besides projects and work... like taking time to doing some skiing before the snow melts, going to Como Conservatory and even reading...
Given that my last writing was a bucket list...it would be easy to see that I might be a tad too organize but really I'm a far cousin to anyone labeled a type A...more like a G or H...that said...better take a look at the list to see what I need to do today...or maybe get another latte first:-)

The List
Everyone has a 'to do' list...some even have 'bucket' list....and so do I!
Living is more important than 'the list' |
- After decades...I've learn to stop worrying about debt....somehow...someway...things continue on regardless of what is owed...
- Give up trying to control things...yes plan, execute, and follow through...but there's one thing I've learned by life...be flexible...expect changes, and the unexpected...and smile, smile, smile
- Don't carry around baggage....let go of mistakes, redefine yourself daily, be who you want to be, break out of your comfort zone by forgiving or forgetting the past...put the car in forward drive...
- Approach everyone and thing as a beautiful, unique and safe opportunity. That doesn't mean you need to be naive but really, the world isn't as scary as your mom told you...
- And finally...recognize that the journey is the reward...inhale, enjoy, dance and sing, this is your reward...being here now:-)

A Change in Weather
There's a strong wind blowing through my life...change.
I've been planning for the last few years...sort of...more like dreaming about...but the winds have picked up...I'm soon to be off on a new adventure...right after I....
The trip starts this year...not to be confused with past misadventures like following the grateful dead for a year or being a ski bum for months...
This trip will have no deadlines...not real goals or major itinerary...just seeing America for awhile with a couple of my grown kids (Vodudoll and Vindetta)...and the two little dogs (Burrito and Dot)...stopping at roadside attractions and eating at strange cafes...I'll blog from the road...but really busy getting ready...My to do list (simple version):
Really that's all :-)
Once I get tired of the road (a year or two) going to settle again but probably someplace tropical...Belize? who knows...one trip at a time my dears...So follow along...I'll post once or twice a week starting now...afterall, what good is a trip without stories!

- Get house and yard perfect for selling
- Sell house
- Buy an RV (went to RV show last weekend and narrowed it down!)
- Get motorbike (and license so I can tool around on it and leave RV on occasion)
- Give away a lot of junk (just the last 20 years of collecting)
- Figure out how to earn misc cash and pay for monthly expenses
- Put art and keepsakes in storage
Really that's all :-)
